The Foundation provides scholarships for qualified students to attend Catholic JK-12 schools. This program has helped many needy families realize the dream of having their children attend Catholic school.

A prime example of success…the MPSF provides significant support for Cristo Rey Richmond High School. This innovative high school educates young people of limited economic means with a curriculum that combines college preparatory learning with real life work experience. Started in 2019, it is giving opportunities to many families to learn in a unique atmosphere and one that benefits our entire RVA community.

Overall, 1,174 students received EISTC scholarships for the 2021-2022 school year to attend one of the 30 accredited Catholic schools in the Diocese of Richmond, which extends from Bristol to the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Notably, donors typically receive most of their money back in Virginia Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credits program (EISTC).
