Ed has an impressive three decades of success in meeting the accounting needs of individuals and business owners as well as executors of estates and trusts. His notable breadth of knowledge and applied expertise were honed in the corporate world and as a Partner with a regional Virginia-based CPA firm.

Ed struck out on his own and founded Blair + Assoc in October 2011. Under his guidance the firm has enjoyed significant growth generated organically as well as by selective acquisition. That success continues based on Ed’s commitment to superior client service, quality work and reasonable fees.

Ed focuses his practice in working with small business owners to define, plan and execute objectives to maximize their business and personal financial goals. He is uniquely qualified in this area as he is proud to claim the professional designation of Certified Family Business Advisor…in addition to his credentials as a Certified Public Accountant.

On a Personal Note

Ed is a graduate of Old Dominion University where he earned his BS degree in accounting. He remains a strong supporter of his alma mater…especially rooting for the Monarchs…on the field and hard court.

Ed is a devoted husband and proud father of his daughter. As a family, all three are active in their church and community activities.

Finally, as Ed says, “You can take the boy out of New Jersey, but can’t take Jersey out of the boy”…evidenced as an enthusiastic fan of both the New York Giants and New York Yankees.
